Rome souvenir haul

We got back from Rome on Friday night and then on Saturday morning I rushed off to Manchester for the weekend to see friends. Yesterday was the first day where I was able to sort out my souvenirs from the trip and before I add my postcards to my scrapbook and put everything away, I thought I’d share what I purchased on my blog. Nothing that I bought cost more than 5 euros; souvenirs in Rome were really cheap!
First up is the postcards and bookmarks. The postcards were either 50 cents or a euro each, whilst the Colosseum bookmarks were 2 euros. I picked up the postcards from market and souvenir stalls. The illustrative ones are my favourite, especially the spaghetti one!

Stuart bought me this beautiful Trevi Fountain painting from a market at the top of the Spanish steps. I can’t wait to hang it up in my room!

I bought an arty Rome cityscape cloth for my glasses from the Pylones store near the Trevi fountain. It’s such a lovely colour being yellow and all of Rome’s main tourist attractions are featured on the cloth. Pylones have such wonderful world city products!

I picked up these pink bunting serviettes in the Venice Square Tiger store.

Last but not least is the Italian flag pasta. I bought two packs of the pasta: one for my sister and her husband and the other for my parents. Stuart found it in a souvenir shop near the Vatican and it’s such a novelty gift.

I hope you like the items.
What sort of souvenirs do you normally purchase?
Thanks for reading my blog today.

  1. These are really cool souvenirs! I love the pasta one 😀 and the postcards and bookmarks are lovely ideas too 🙂 I'd love to go to Rome! It's on my bucket list 🙂 I normally try and look for a mini ornament of any famous landmarks (e.g. in paris a mini eiffel tower) and a christmas bauble to add to our tree when its christmas time 🙂
