My Warsaw trip in photos!

Last week, my boyfriend and I went to Poland for a few days. We visited Warsaw and spent our time in the city exploring both the Old Town and the newer areas, eating at beautiful outdoor restaurants and finding out all about Poland’s history.
Normally after a holiday, I’d write daily trip diary posts, but for Warsaw, I’m just going to show you lots of photos instead. Plus, I’ll throw in a few recommendations of specific places to visit, for those of you who might be considering a trip to Poland in the near future.
The Old Town

The Old Town was definitely the prettiest part of Warsaw. I loved all of the colourful buildings and beautiful archways. The Old Town Marketplace and the Castle Square were definitely the most spectacular places to visit; they’re a photographer’s heaven!

Castle Square

Old Town Marketplace

The Royal Castle is on the edge of the Old Town and with tickets costing about £3, it’s a very affordable tourist attraction. It’s absolutely beautiful inside and well worth a visit; there’s so much gold and it’s full of ornate furnishings.

The Presidential Palace

The Presidential Palace is definitely something you should drop by and see. It’s a magnificent building set back from the street, about 10 minutes walk from the Old Town. You can’t really tell from this photo, but there’s lots of red and white flowers outside, which is a perfectly patriotic touch!

Saxon Garden

The Saxon Garden is the best place to sit and relax in the city! It’s right in the centre, yet still remains so peaceful and quiet. It’s full of gorgeous flowers, a pond and an impressive water fountain. We couldn’t believe how tranquil it was!

The Palace of Science and Culture

The airport transfer dropped us outside here on our first day. Isn’t it such an incredible building? You can see it from all over Warsaw and it’s unlike any other in the city.
I had such an amazing time in Warsaw with Stuart.
It really is a wonderful city!
Thanks for reading my blog today.
