Hi I’m Kat, a theatre and travel blogger living in Canterbury, UK. Working as a web developer and designer by day, writing and photography have occupied my free time for the last 8 years. Primarily sharing theatre reviews and things to do for arts and culture fans, I am passionate about the creative industries and exploring the world.
On a weekly basis, I’m usually found reviewing touring productions, as well as off-West End and West End shows in London. In 2022 I experienced my first Edinburgh Fringe Festival and for summer 2023, I headed back as accredited media. Last Autumn I covered the Canterbury Festival in a press capacity: an arts festival in Kent covering theatre, comedy, music and immersive art.
I am also a huge Disney fan and enjoy watching the films, seeing Disney Theatrical Productions’ latest stage shows and visiting the parks in Paris and Florida. With Canterbury sitting on the high speed line between London and Margate, it is very convenient for the Eurostar and trains to the French capital. I recently spent Christmas in Walt Disney World and it was a truly magical experience. It is a dream of mine to visit Disneyland California one day and see Walt’s original theme park vision.
