Ideas for Winter days out

It’s so cold in Winter, that you can end up spending your entire weekend or days off indoors. It’s only a couple of weeks till I finish Uni for Christmas and over the holidays, I really want to go on lots of days out. I thought I’d talk about some ideas for Winter days out on my blog today.

1. Take a beach trip.

There’s something extra special about visiting a beach in Winter.

A couple of weeks ago, I visited Broadstairs, which is not too far from Canterbury. We walked along the beach and it was so nice being able to experience the fresh coastal air and look out at the sea. You have to be really wrapped up warm for a day out like this though; by the sea it’s freezing!

2. Visit some Christmas markets.

Christmas markets always make me feel really festive. The mulled wine and Christmassy food always smells amazing! Christmas markets are great fun to just wander around, if you’re looking for something different to do at the weekend.

3. Spend a day in Covent Garden.

Covent Garden always has an amazing atmosphere. It’s a great place to visit in Winter because there’s lots of places for you to shelter, if it’s really cold. There are so many shops, cafés and restaurants that you can visit, or you can spend your time outside strolling along the pretty streets.
What is your ideal Winter day out?
Thanks for reading my blog today.

These are some super cute ideas. Haven't thoughabout going to Covent Garden but I do recall them having some amazing lights and displays over the years! A beach is not a bad shout actually, too bad we're not exactly close to one. We're doing a similar post with winter date night ideas and of course you can't go wrong with Christmas markets! Lovely post! Thanks for sharing!
