London Disney Meet Up

Being a part of the online Disney community is quickly becoming a big part of my life. It amazes me how in 6 months of blogging and tweeting about Disney, I’ve made so many new friends! There was a London Disney Meet Up on Saturday 2nd July, so I jumped at the chance to go and meet some more fellow Disney fans.
Hannah, Amy and I
We met at the Oxford Street Disney Store at 12pm. I of course turned up very early and overestimated how long it would take to get to Bond Street station, but if I’m ever travelling somewhere for the day, I like to make the most of it and get there early. I’m glad I did though, because it meant I got explore some of the side streets near Bond Street and I came across this beautiful one:
When it was getting closer to 12, I headed to the Disney Store to meet Soph, Deandre and Gabby. When I met them, it felt as if I’d known them for years! They were such welcoming and kind people. We were all so glad we’d been able to recognise each other from Twitter. Sheryl and Charlie joined us shortly after, before the rest of the group came along around 12.
In the end, there was a big crowd of us outside the Disney Store; it was such an brilliant turnout! We soon retreated inside and tried to resist buying everything. Hannah (Courage and Kindness) arrived after we’d been browsing a while and I was so excited to see her. I’ve spoken to Hannah pretty such since day 1 of my blog, so it was lovely to finally meet her in person.
After a short time in the Disney Store, we headed to Pizza Hut for lunch. They managed to sit the 15 of us on 3 tables next to each other which was perfect. The food was great and the waitress did so well to manage all of our orders!

Next stop was Primark and this meant hunting for all of the Disney things in Primark. There were lots of villain bags and there were some really nice Lion King bits! Trying to stay as a group in the Marble Arch Primark was near enough impossible though, it was so busy and SO BIG!
Hannah, Amy and I headed back to the Disney Store after we’d had a good look in Primark. I hadn’t spoken to Amy before the event, but she was so kind and I’m really pleased to have met her! The three of us got a photo in the Cinderella carriage, which you saw at the top of this post and we each made some purchases. The rest of the group met us there a little bit later, just in time for me to say goodbye to everyone before catching my train.
