Since moving back to Canterbury for University, I’ve got a local Lush store again! On my very first day back in the city, I was in store browsing their new products. The hand soaps and shower gels are my usual Lush favourites, but since the festive period I’ve found a couple of new Lush loves!
Love and Light Hand Cream
As someone who suffers from extreme chilblains in Winter, it’s important I have a high coverage hand cream with me at all times. I purchased one of the festive Lush sets at Christmas time, and the ‘Love and Light’ Hand Cream that came in it has been my lifesaver so far throughout the chilly season. It’s not heavy and thick like other products I’ve tried before; it’s light and it smells so lovely! But I mean it’s Lush after all, so that last point is a given. I honestly can’t recommend this product enough, it’s so great!

The Kiss – Valentines Day Lip Scrub
When I went into the Canterbury Lush store last, I asked one of the assistants about lip products. He showed me the regular ranges, but then pointed straight to ‘The Kiss’ – a Valentine’s Day scrub. Intrigued by it’s name, bubblegum pink packaging and the fact that it is candy floss flavoured, I couldn’t resist purchasing it and I’m so impressed by it! Applying this in the morning before lipstick gives my lips a bit of tlc, and it’s now become a fundamental part of my morning routine. Make sure you get it before the end of the Valentine’s Day season. The pot is very generous for it’s £5.50 price.
