Pretty teacups and toasties – Rosey Lea Bishop’s Stortford

Like any stereotypical British person, tea is a blessing and my saviour 365 days a year. I’m tired? I need tea. I’m thirsty? I need tea. I’m eating cake? That certainly can’t happen without tea. Okay, I think I’ve made my point. So you can imagine my response when some family friends invited us out for lunch at a gorgeous local tearoom – ABSOLUTELY YES.
Rosey Leas at Wickham Hall is a country tearoom near where I live, and it’s known for it’s wonderful assortment of leaf teas and floral tea sets. Every time I visit, I get to try something new, and this time I opted for Cherry Blossom tea. A rather peculiar taste but worth trying, my tea looked lovely in it’s delicate cup and teapot. For lunch I ordered a cheese, tomato and pesto toastie. Rosey Leas’ food presentation is always fab: they make even the simplest of food look good.

The nicest thing about going to the tearoom is their attention to detail and decor; the walls even match the cups and saucers! It really is the perfect place for Instagram fans to visit.
In need of a tearoom in the Hertfordshire area? I can’t recommend Rosey Lea enough. You can also find Rosey Lea in Bishop’s Stortford town centre.
Thank you so much for reading my blog.
Where do you like to go for afternoon tea?
Love
