A trip to Disneyland or Walt Disney World is the perfect opportunity to wear your Minnie Mouse ears and your favourite Disney clothes! So whether you’re wearing head-to-toe Disney or DisneyBounding, it is your chance to show off your inner Disnerd. It has been the ever-increasing trend recently at Disney Parks to DisneyBound, which involves dressing up as a Disney character using your everyday wardrobe. In Summer I love to DisneyBound, but in Winter, I prefer to opt for a Disney t-shirt and jeans combination; there’s nothing worse than being too cold waiting for a ride or parade! So for today’s post, I’m going to talk you through what I’d wear for a trip to the parks in Winter.
A trip to Disney wouldn’t be the same without ears, so I always make sure I wear mine for a day at the parks. I have a few different pairs, some of which are perfect for specific Disney bounds, but a classic red and black pair is my go-to for your casual day at the park.
Now onto the clothes! Before any Disney trip, I always scout UK high street stores for unique Disney t-shirts. Primark, New Look and Topshop all sell lots of these, but the t-shirt I’m wearing is actually a Next nightdress. To turn it into a day shirt, I’ve simply rolled it up and tied it with a see through elastic band. This shirt is just the style I usually go for, something that showcases original Disney!

I always pair my Disney t-shirt with some simple blue jeans. They’re ultra warm, comfy and such a classic that you can wear as crazy a Disney t-shirt you like with them! Although, maybe not if you’re visiting Walt Disney World and riding Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids.
Black boots is my go-to for footwear, giving the look a classic Wintery feel without taking any attention away from your top and ears. Make sure they’re a comfy pair though because you’re going to be walking a long distance at the parks!
Disney jewellery always finishes off any park look, so I choose a necklace or bracelet for accessories. The necklace I’m wearing is a vintage 1950s one; my boyfriend got it for me for Christmas. It’s so beautiful and features my favourite: Minnie Mouse!
Throw a coat on, and that completes my Winter Disneyland outfit. It’s appropriate for the season, but still makes sure you add a little Disney magic to your look.
