After a busy day at Uni, there is nothing I like more than coming home and getting straight into my PJs. I’ll get into bed early and just have some me time. Today I finally put up my fairy lights, so I thought I’d take a photo of them and write a blog post about ways to relax in the evening!
1. Watch one of your favourite movies.
For me it’s always Disney movies or chick flicks.
2. Turn of the main light in your room and switch your lamps and fairy lights on.
I always find softer lighting more relaxing.
3. Fill up a hot water bottle.
As the nights are drawing in and the temperature is dropping, hot water bottles are a great way to stay warm and toasty. When I’m warm, I relax more, so I always make sure I fill my hot water bottle up when I’m having a night in.
4. Drink hot chocolate.
Often I’ll have one of my Options hot chocolates (the ones that don’t make you feel guilty over the number of calories haha). The salted caramel one is so nice!
5. Do some reading!
I love catching up with my favourite blogs before I go to bed. I scroll through my Bloglovin’ feed and have a read of anything new.
