In 2017 there’s going to be a lot of change in my life as I’ll be finishing University and entering graduate life. In the first half of the year, I’ve got the last few months of University to look forward to and then I’ll be doing a spot of travelling to the USA later in the year. I’ve got some exciting things happening in 2017, so I thought I’d talk about them on my blog today.
One of the perks of going to the University of Kent is getting to graduate in Canterbury Cathedral. I get stage fright sometimes, so I’m not looking forward to collecting my degree certificate in front of everyone, but it’ll be so nice to graduate in such a wonderful building.
When this post goes live, I’ll actually be exploring Rome.
3. Turning 21.
Although it’s a bit of a scary thought turning 21, I’m looking forward to celebrating my birthday with friends and family.
4. Walt Disney World.
The big trip! I can’t wait to head back to Disney. I’ve written a post about my trip plans here.
5. TrekAmerica reunion.
It’s been nearly 18 months since I went on a TrekAmerica tour through the Deep South of the USA, but we’re having a trip reunion very soon. We’re heading to Manchester for the weekend and I can’t wait to catch up with my Trek friends.
6. My sister is moving back to Hertfordshire.
She’s been living in Cambridge the last couple of years, so it’ll be lovely having her back in the same area as us.
What are you looking forward to this year?
Thanks for reading my blog today.
